Meet Our Periodontist
Dr. Marjorie Baptiste is a Board Certified periodontist and Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology. She is an expert in placing titanium and non-titanium ceramic (Zirconia) dental implants.
Dr. Baptiste is well-versed in up-to-date techniques for successful, minimally invasive gum surgery procedures including hard- and soft-tissue regeneration. She has more than 10 years of experience in these dynamic area of dentistry.
Dr. Baptiste served as program director of the Advanced Program of Periodontics at Lutheran Medical Center, Brooklyn. Under her tenure the program earned coveted ADA accreditation. She lectures nationally on advances in dental implant therapy, and provides training workshops for New Jersey dentists.
In 2014 Dr. Baptiste was honored with a Fellowship in the esteemed Pierre Fauchard Academy. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Board of Periodontology, Dental XP, International Team of Implantology, International Academy of Ceramic Implantology and SYFAC Congress, an international scientific society that studies disease of the teeth and mouth based in Nice, France.
Dr. Baptiste graduated from Tufts School of Medicine as a recipient of the Colgate-Palmolive Full Academic Scholarship Award. She received the Northeastern Society of Periodontists Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Periodontics. She earned her postgraduate periodontal and dental implant specialty degree from Tufts University.
Dr. Baptiste lives with her husband and two dogs in Toms River, NJ. She is fluent in French.
